I'm a global technology executive with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of cloud transformation, enterprise AI, and revenue operations. From Wilson, North Carolina to Waldorf, Germany to leading a $256M+ portfolio at Amazon Web Services, my journey has been defined by one conviction: exceptional results are the byproduct of exceptional people.
At AWS, I was recruited to build and lead the Global Customer Solutions Management organization for Automotive and Manufacturing from the ground up. What I built was not just an org chart. I designed the operating systems, performance frameworks, and enablement infrastructure that transformed a collection of talented individuals into a high-functioning, Director-level organization accountable for $256M+ ARR. I recruited, developed, and retained Customer Solutions Managers, Partner Development Managers, and Solution Architects who now operate as some of the most impactful practitioners in AWS's global post-sales community. I established management cadences and career development programs that cut attrition to below-target levels, and I authored the CSM Excellence Role Guide, now the global standard adopted by 1,200+ CSMs worldwide. My belief is simple: when you invest relentlessly in the growth, clarity, and confidence of your people, they deliver results that exceed every expectation.
Beyond the portfolio, I bring deep technical fluency in agentic AI architecture, GenAI platform deployment (Bedrock, SageMaker), and enterprise cloud strategy, combined with the executive presence and C-suite advisory skills to make it all land at the board level.
In June 2025, Metropolitan College of New York honored me with the Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, at their Commencement Ceremony at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. MCNY's President, Dr. Charles J. Gibbs, noted that my journey from Wilson, North Carolina to Global Head at Amazon Web Services "embodies the very ideals we uphold at MCNY" and cited my efforts to create STEM pathways for underrepresented youth as a powerful example of using professional success as a platform for community impact.
Like many MCNY graduates who are first-generation college students, parents, and professionals who have overcome real barriers, my story is rooted in family, grounded in education, and driven by service. This recognition affirms the leadership philosophy I bring to every team I build: excellence and empathy are not opposites. They are the same thing.
